Breakfast Point Academy Celebrates Deputy Whitman on School Resource Deputy Appreciation Day

PANAMA CITY, Fla. — Breakfast Point Academy proudly recognized Deputy Whitman on School Resource Deputy Appreciation Day, honoring his dedication and service to the students, staff, and families of the Stingray community.

Deputy Whitman serves as more than a law enforcement presence on campus. He is a daily source of encouragement, mentorship, and support, helping ensure that Breakfast Point Academy remains a safe and welcoming environment where students can thrive.

Principal Deniece Moss expressed her deep appreciation for the positive influence Deputy Whitman has on campus. “Deputy Whitman exemplifies what it means to serve with integrity and heart,” Moss said. “He builds genuine relationships with our students and staff, and his presence brings both security and comfort to our school community. We are incredibly grateful for his commitment to BPA.”

Assistant Principal Bryan Long echoed those sentiments, highlighting the consistency and care Deputy Whitman demonstrates each day. “Deputy Whitman is an integral part of our Stingray family,” Long said. “He goes beyond his duties to connect with students, offer guidance, and model professionalism and respect. His impact is felt in our hallways, classrooms, and throughout our campus.”

Students also shared their appreciation for their School Resource Deputy. Eighth grader Maya said, “Deputy Whitman always says good morning and checks on us. He makes school feel safer.”

Sixth grader Jaxon added, “He talks to us like we matter. You can tell he really cares about the students here.”
