BPA: Pancare

Breakfast Point Academy families, we have important information for our student-athletes!

On May 14, May 15, and May 18, PanCare of Florida will have their mobile clinic bus on campus providing:

This convenient opportunity allows families to complete required athletic health clearances right here at school — including the new EKG requirement that will soon take effect.

📣 New State Requirement Effective July 1, 2026

Beginning July 1, 2026, a new state requirement mandates that an EKG/ECG screening be included as part of the athletic pre-participation process for:

  • 🟢 All incoming 9th grade students

  • 🟢 Any new high school athletes

This is a significant change. Students will not be eligible to participate in high school athletics without the required EKG/ECG screening, which could result in delays or sitting out while waiting for appointments.

To stay ahead of this requirement, BPA has partnered with PanCare to provide EKG screenings alongside sports physicals during the upcoming mobile clinic visits.

We strongly encourage our current 8th-grade students interested in playing high school sports to take advantage of this opportunity now.
