BPA: Band MPA

The Breakfast Point Academy Advanced Band delivered an outstanding performance this past Saturday at the Music Performance Assessment (MPA), earning Superior ratings from every judge and receiving the prestigious Harry E. Grant Memorial Award.

Music Performance Assessment is a highly respected event where student ensembles perform prepared musical selections and are evaluated by a panel of judges on tone quality, technique, musicality, and overall performance. Achieving a Superior rating represents the highest level of performance, making the band’s accomplishment even more impressive.

The BPA Advanced Band showcased exceptional preparation, musicianship, and teamwork throughout their performance. Their success reflects the dedication of the student musicians who spent countless hours rehearsing and refining their music.

A special recognition goes to band director Mr. Ferguson, whose tireless commitment and passion for music education continue to inspire BPA’s student musicians. Through his leadership and mentorship, students are encouraged to grow not only as performers but also as confident and disciplined individuals.

The achievement is another example of Breakfast Point Academy’s strong commitment to the arts and its mission of “putting the A back in Bay through the Arts.”

Congratulations to the BPA Advanced Band students and Mr. Ferguson for representing their school and community with excellence.
