Breakfast Point Academy 'SingRays' Shine at 45th Annual Bay District Schools Elementary Music Festival

PANAMA CITY, FL — The 'SingRays' of Breakfast Point Academy proudly represented their school and community Tuesday evening at the 45th Annual Bay District Schools Elementary Music Festival, held at First Baptist Church of Panama City. The annual event brought together elementary music programs from across the district for an evening of music, unity, and patriotism.

This year’s festival theme, “Celebrating 250 Years of the United States of America,” honored the nation’s heritage through a collection of beloved patriotic and traditional songs. Students from across Bay District Schools joined their voices to perform a powerful program celebrating America’s history and spirit.

Under the direction of Ms. White, the 'SingRays' performed alongside their peers in a moving repertoire that included:

  • The Star-Spangled Banner

  • Sing, America, Sing

  • The Preamble

  • Simple Gifts

  • Salute to America / Patriotic Medley

  • Shenandoah

  • America

  • Salute to the Armed Forces

Families and community members filled the sanctuary as the combined choirs delivered a memorable performance that showcased both musical talent and pride in country.

Breakfast Point Academy Assistant Principal Mr. Long attended the event to support the students and celebrate their hard work and dedication.

“Our 'SingRays' did an outstanding job tonight,” said Mr. Long. “They represented Breakfast Point Academy with pride and patriotism. We are incredibly proud of the effort they put into preparing for this performance and the way they carried themselves on stage.”

Special recognition was also given to Ms. White for her leadership and commitment in preparing the students for the festival. Her dedication to the arts continues to inspire students and strengthen Breakfast Point Academy’s music program.

Principal Mrs. Moss also praised Ms. White and the 'SingRays' for their continued excellence in the arts.

“Ms. White pours her heart into our students every single day,” said Mrs. Moss. “Because of her passion and dedication, our Stingrays are able to experience the joy of music and performance at such a high level. She truly embodies what it means to put the ‘A’ back in Bay through the Arts, and we are incredibly grateful for the impact she has on our school community.”

The performance served as another example of the important role the arts play in student development and school culture. At Breakfast Point Academy, opportunities like this reinforce the school’s commitment to putting the “A” back in Bay through the Arts.

The 'SingRays' participation in the festival was a proud moment for the school community and a celebration of music, history, and the spirit of America.
