Breakfast Point Academy Students Enjoy Day of Competition at Jr. Olympics
Panama City, FL — March 26, 2026
Breakfast Point Academy students showcased their athleticism, determination, and school pride today as they participated in the district-wide Jr. Olympics held at Tommy Oliver Stadium. Elementary students from across the district gathered for a day filled with spirited competition, teamwork, and fun.
Throughout the event, BPA’s student-athletes demonstrated great effort and sportsmanship while competing against their peers from other schools. The day provided students with an opportunity to challenge themselves, support one another, and celebrate being active.
Among the many strong performances, two Stingrays earned top finishes in their events. Fifth grader Jazlyn Camacho placed 1st in the girls long jump with an impressive jump of 2.16 meters, while fellow fifth grader Afton Duncan earned 1st place in the girls softball throw with a distance of 122.06 feet.
The success and enjoyment of the day were made possible through the support and preparation provided by Coach Smith and Coach Mike, who helped ensure students were ready to compete while keeping the focus on having fun and doing their best.
The Jr. Olympics continues to be a valuable experience for students to build confidence, develop teamwork, and represent their school community. Breakfast Point Academy is proud of all participants for their effort, enthusiasm, and the positive way they represented the Stingrays.
It was a great day of competition, camaraderie, and Stingray pride!
